Wispr Flow

This is a plug, and I’m sharing a referral link, but you will thank me for it. I have used a lot of apps in my time, and I regularly use AI, but there is one simple app that has literally changed the way I work.

For years I’ve used voice dictation to write books, but it’s always frustrating, because there are so many errors you still spend a lot of time editing. If you’ve tried to get Siri to do anything, you know what I’m talking about. But there is now an app that runs on Mac, PC, and iOS that is absolutely a game changer.

Wispr Flow works in every app and dialogue box, and it does not make mistakes. It even formats what you dictate into lists, when appropriate. It fixes grammar, and literally can transcribe you whispering while someone is banging pots around in the background (as I witnessed last night).

I hardly type at all any more. Imagine trying to dictate this message using Siri, and how many punctuation problems there would be, let alone other errors. But Wispr Flow can do it. It’s free to try, or even use on a limited basis, but the Pro version is quite cheap on a yearly subscription.

Here’s a free month to check it out:
